Do you know a young man who demonstrates leadership, strong faith, and a heart for service? He might be called to the priesthood.

Called by Name is a special initiative of the Archdiocese of New York to recognize and encourage young men who may be open to discerning a vocation to the priesthood. This campaign offers an opportunity for the entire Church community to help identify potential future priests from among our own parishes and schools.

His Eminence Cardinal Timothy Dolan has written a heartfelt letter in support of this mission, which we invite you to read below. On the weekend of May 10 and May 11, all parishioners will have the opportunity to submit the names of young men who exemplify a love for Christ and the Church, exhibit strong faith, and are known for their generous service to others.

Those who are named will receive:

  -A personal letter of encouragement from Cardinal Dolan

  -Invitations to vocation events throughout the year

  -Ongoing support from the Archdiocesan Vocation Team
